General
How often have you not got around to doing things at work
that turned out to be quite important - probably because you
thought you didn't have time? Managing time effectively involves
both having a clear understanding of exactly what you need to do
and applying simple techniques to insight about how you work most
effectively. This workshop looks at ways to define precisely your
roles and tasks and explores ways in which these can be managed
most effectively, in the time available to you. This session will
be of benefit to anyone who feels they could be more effective
... if only you had time to look at how.
Course Contents
The workshop will use guided exercises, presentations and
discussions to enable participants to use their own work
situations to cover:
- Clarifying
roles and tasks
- Personal
effectiveness - identifying our own preferences and style
- Priority
setting and timescales
- Techniques of
time management
Participants will
discover how to plan effectively within their own work situation,
how to use creatively their own awareness of how they work best
and learn some basic techniques of time management.
