What Can We Do For You?

Annette Smith first started out not knowing anything about computers, but willing to learn. She wanted a better understanding of computing as she had no experience of using them. She first started at Grove Hill working on an achievement award which she passed first time. With this under her belt she then put her new found skills to use and progressed through Computer Literacy And Information Technology (CLAIT) and Integrated Business Technology Level 2 (IBT2). With expert tuition from various fully qualified training staff Annette passed both exams first time. She then proceeded to work on IBT3.

From the skills she had learnt from the computer courses, she now works voluntarily at Grove Hill reception, 3 times a week as a secretary. Without the skills and knowledge she has gained, Annette wouldn't have had the opportunity to work in such a place as this.

With all this going on and grasping the concept of computers and their programmes she took a course in basic interneting "wake up to the web" and successfully passed first time round.

She now can't wait to pass the IBT3 so that she can go to university and accomplish a Higher National Diploma in Computer Programming, Annette hopes that she will become a computer programmer.

From not knowing anything about computers, Annette now manages several computer packages very well and can easily surf the net. With the help of the VSTU, Annette has been given the opportunity to progress to higher achievements in her future plans.

Why not contact the VSTU to see what we can do for you it worked for Annette Smith?
