| The VSTU is pleased to be able to provide (offer
and invite organisations from across the county) FREE Training and
Development activities.
The free provision can be either: |
| a) | Customised in-house training and development - tailored towards your organisation's needs - either in your or alternative premises at times suitable to your organisation - under the VSTU's new ESF Objective 3 Community Empowerment Project, or |
| b) | Training and Development course provision under the ESF Objective 2 provision - "Upskilling for Voluntary/Community sector for SMEs across the Tees Valley, or |
| c) | Other provision using Tees Valley TEC funding provision, such as Investors In People programme. |
Training and development can be provided in the following areas:- |
| 1. | Leadership/Management |
| 2. | Organisational Review - Changed management |
| 3. | Business Planning/Strategic Planning |
| 4. | Employment Legislation - including Human Resource Management issues such as Equal Opportunities and Health & Safety |
| 5. | Information Technology - including Webpage design, Internet use and Finance management (using SAGE) |
| 6. | Community Work |
| 7. | Training the Trainers |
| 8. | Mentoring |
| 9. | NVQ Accreditation |
