working though-out the North of England, based at the Dene Centre in
Newcastle upon Tyne.

At Disability North, we will explain your rights and
entitlements under the law. Our staff can help you fill in the
forms and represent you at tribunals.
To help you get about and live independently we can provide you with information on useful equipment. The centre has kitchen, bathroom and bedroom display areas where you can try out products such as stairlifts, hoists, kitchen utensils and wheelchairs and scooters. |

Our staff team will give you impartial advice, show you how equipment works, provide you with brochures, suggest possible sources of funding and tell you how to obtain second hand equipment. Our library holds a wide range of information relating to disability issues and this is open to you at any time during opening hours.
