You can't really blow up a computer and it certainly won't bite you. Computers are not just for the kids or
for "clever" people. It really is easy to learn
quite a lot very quickly once your confidence grows just
a little. There is a use for a computer in the lives of

For the technically minded, you will be introduced to
three major software applications: word processing,
databases and spreadsheets. You will learn how to make
text look fancy (bold, italic, underlined), how to create
a simple database of addresses (yours, your neighbours,
friends, relatives), how to make a spreadsheet do your
calculations for you, and lastly how to merge the entries
you made in your database into a short letter you will
type. No previous knowledge of typing is necessary - one
finger at a time is fine!
